Mission
The mission of the Clark County Health Department (CCHD) is to promote wellness in the individual and the community and to inspire conditions by which people can remain healthy.
Philosophy
The department's philosophy is to provide health care in an environment free from prejudice or discrimination, to foster a sense of self-worth and to create an avenue for learning, whereby we inspire conditions in which people can remain healthy.
Assurance of Non-Discrimination
The CCHD does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, or disability in employment or the providing of services. The agency will arrange, by request, reasonable accommodation necessary to provide individuals with disabilities equal opportunity to participate in all programs and activities.
