| Job Description:
The Clark County Health Department is accepting applications for a FT Local Health Nurse IV/Team Leader. Duties: Serves as the team leader for a team of school nurses serving the public schools in Clark County; coordinates the work of the team through her role as a supervisor, clinical expert, and consultant; leads the school nurse team in identifying, distributing and balancing workload; serves as liaison between school nurses and the local health department and school administration; coordinates and provides management and guidance to the Clark County Health Department School Health Program; provides and oversees staff provision of basic nursing care to students consistent with the Public Health Practice Reference (PHPR), Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice, established policies, procedures, and licensing laws; documents services according to PHPR and Administrative Reference; maintains confidentiality and privacy according to guidelines as needed, serves as supervisor of assigned school nursing team consistent with Kentucky Board of Nursing Advisory Opinion on Delegated Authority as well as local policy and state guidelines.
The starting hourly rate of pay is $16.89 – $21.42 (negotiable with additional qualifications, if applicable) with excellent benefits.

| Job Requirements:
Minimum Requirements: Must have RN license in Kentucky or compact state and two years Registered Nurse experience. A BSN may substitute for one year experience. A Master’s Degree in Nursing, Nursing Administration, Nursing Education or Public Health may substitute for two (2) years experience. |
