The Cooper Clayton Method to Stop Smoking is an effective smoking cessation program that:
*Addresses all aspects of smoking.
*Uses nicotine gum, patches, or lozenges to control cravings.
*Provides intensive weekly education and support group sessions for 1 hour, each week for 13 weeks.

Diabetes Self-Management Classes begin on Thursday April 26th and continue Thursday May 3rd, May 10th, and May 24th. No class will be held on May 17th. The time is 5pm to 7pm for each session.
The classes will include all aspects of diabetes self management including – What Diabetes is, complications of uncontrolled diabetes, monitoring and management, exercise, medications, nutrition and carbohydrate counting and much more.
We would like everyone who plans to attend any of these classes to call and sign up; this will ensure an adequate amount of educational materials including nutrition booklets. You may call the health department and speak to Carol Hisle if you need additional information or to one of our dieticians, Cara O’Neill or Amy Williams.
